Having problems logging into the site? There are many different causes for login difficulty. I will list as many of them below as I can and will provide some steps for your use that will assist in resolving the problem quickly and easily.
FIRST AND FOREMOST --- PROXY SERVERS (and some firewalls) MAY PREVENT LOGIN. IF YOU EXPERIENCE LOGIN PROBLEMS LOOK AT THESE FIRST BEFORE CONTACTING SUPPORT. WE WILL JUST TELL YOU TO LOOK AT THEM BEFORE WE DO ANYTHING ELSE.
DO NOT LOGIN MORE THAN SIX TIMES IN ONE HOUR AS IT WILL SUSPEND YOUR ACCOUNT AUTOMATICALLY.

OTHER CONNECTION ISSUES
When I try to login I am redirected back to the 403 Forbidden Page. Why?
This is caused by a suspended account. Accounts can be suspended automatically by the password software
when it is accessed from to many different IP addresses, when it is logged into over X number of times in an hour,
or other reasons. Sometimes, when a member has been with the site for a while or moves a great deal (travels), an account can be suspended for IP abuse by mistake. If you account is suspended, please contact us via email to email@example.com and we will look into what may have happened and attempt to get the situation worked out.
Another cause of this problem is someone attempting to gain access and has their IP suspended, it is added to a special file that denies access to not only the members area but also to the login page itself. This is supposed to help slow down brute force attacks and it works. Hackers use dynamic IP addresses (or others may use spoofed addresses) that may actually be the IP address you are now surfing with and this can cause problems. They get their IP suspended, get a new IP and start hacking again. You however connect to the IP that was suspended and dont know why you can not get to the site. Give it a little time (an hour at most) and check again. The list resets itself.
I can not connect to the server at all. What is wrong?
If you are reading this page on the site (and not through a cached version of the page) then you are not blocked from the server. You are just blocked from the site. You can be blocked from the site/server for many reasons but most times it is for port scanning. You may not even know you are doing it.
Port scanning is a process in which computer software is used to scan for open ports on a remote machine. This can be done for legitimate reasons but most times is done to probe for vulnerabilities. Our server's firewall is configured to detect port scanning and to drop and block incoming connections from the IP address that is scanning the ports.
The port scanning software is normally a class of virus/malware/trojan and you won't even know you have it until you suddenly can't connect to our server but can still reach other sites (which is what happened to me one day when I was using a friends laptop). We recommend that you scan your computer using a reputable virus scanner (ie Nortons, McAffee, FProtect, AVG, Webroot etc).
I'm still having trouble or I am having trouble with something other than logging in or connecting to the server....
